Rick Peoples 

    Rick has a degree in elementary education from East Stroudsburg University (PA).   He taught for over five years, before pursuing  his dream of being a country music songwriter.  With a mixture of talent, drive   and persistence, his dreams did come true!  Rick's songs have  been on over eight million units, including  records by country legends Reba McEntire,  Tammy Wynette, Randy Travis, Tanya Tucker,  Ray Price, Collin Raye and many others.
    Rick  has combined the eye of the artist and that of  the educator, to create the verses in his books and songs.

About the Illustrator 

Susan Hart Peoples

    Sue has a degree in art from Kutztown University (PA). In addition, she has an elementary education degree from Patterson State University (NJ) and, most recently, a master degree in reading from East Stroudsburg University (PA).  Sue is also a certified Montessori Teacher.  In addition to her academic achievements, Sue's creative insights and compassionate approach have made her an excellent teacher for over twenty five years!  She is currently a reading specialist for the Stroudsburg (PA) Area School district.  Sue has used both her talent and experience to create these delightful illustrations.

    Sue and Rick, after living in Nashville for sixteen years, have settled back home in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.  They have two grown daughters, Tracy and Christina, and two grandsons, Jake and Luke.   They live in the village of Appenzell, PA and are the proprietors of the Appenzell Press.
